This creation represents the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, an ancient edifice considered to be one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Architecture mythical or real from antiquity, known only through ancient texts. 

The idea was to create a representation of this often admired garden, written and painted but never realized in 3 dimensions.

This haute Jewellery piece is in 750 thousandths (18K) yellow and Pink Gold gold, set with 12 diamonds (0.2 carats), 6 sapphires (1.6 carats) and garnet microcrystals (24 carats) for a total weight of 36 grams.

Antique architectural elements such as arcades and columns can be seen. Staircases lead from one garden to the next. Under the central garden is a fountain to quench your thirst. 

The gardens are symbolized by bright green garnet microcrystals, reminiscent of lush nature. At various points, water basins are represented by sapphires. Here and there, diamonds add sparkle to this creation.
