RHUM CLÉMENT
It's a collaboration that gives rise to a project that's completely out of the ordinary. It's an exclusive encounter with a world-renowned rum brand from Martinique. Our collaboration will be an opportunity to contain an exceptional rum in an exceptional bottle.
The birth of an exceptional product
The meeting between Maison CLÉMENT® and Maison TOURNAIRE® has given rise to a partnership combining the exceptional expertise of 2 excellent French brands. This collaboration has resulted in the creation of a unique piece reserved for the world's greatest rum connoisseurs and collectors of extraordinary pieces: the most expensive bottle of rum in the world. TOURNAIRE® has been renowned for its architectural jewelry for decades. The idea of reproducing the Habitation CLEMENT®, emblematic of the eponymous brand, was soon born. The luxurious reproduction of this 18th-century residence, listed as a historic monument since 1996, now culminates on the bottle cap. The Habitation CLEMENT® on the bottle stopper is made of yellow and red gold, weighing a total of 200 grams of gold. More than 4 carats of diamonds are set on the roofs and rims of this exclusive version of the Habitation CLEMENT®. The Baccarat crystal bottle contains a never-before-marketed rum of unrivalled quality. It's the exceptional 1966 vintage! This one-of-a-kind bottle is set on a patinated yellow bronze base, in a bespoke case made of aged leather. The whole piece took over a year to complete and is available for €100,000. This exceptional piece is also available in an art bronze version, hand-patinated and limited to 8 numbered pieces for collectors of exceptional objects. For these 8 pieces, the stopper representing Habitation CLÉMENT® has been crafted in yellow and red gold-plated polished bronze, adorning the bottle elegantly placed on its patinated yellow bronze base; the whole set is dressed in a unique case and available at a price of €19,000. Part of the proceeds from the sale of the 9 bottles will be donated to the APIPD association: L'Association Pour l'Information et la Prévention de la Drépanocytose is an association governed by the French law of 1901, whose aim is to raise public awareness of the world's most widespread genetic disease: sickle cell anemia.
Vintage 1966 - A rare and precious nectar
Carefully preserved for decades in the "paradise" of Habitation CLEMENT® in Martinique, the 1966 vintage is an extremely rare rum. Martinique's agricultural rum, produced from the pure juice of sugar cane, has held an appellation d'origine contrôlée (AOC) since 1996. This exceptional cuvée, reflecting Rhum CLEMENT®'s high level of expertise in aging spirits, is a jewel of the brand and will delight the palates of the finest connoisseurs and collectors.
This rare and precious nectar with its mahogany-brown color was bottled at the height of its serenity in 1991. The very expressive, powerful nose of this aged rum immediately seduces with its warm, gourmand notes. Aromas of chocolate, gingerbread and mocha mingle with the finely spiced, sweet notes of vanilla and candied fruit (fig, date, orange). After aeration, subtle notes of cigar box appear. Powerful and voluptuous on the attack, the aromas perceived on olfactory tasting are confirmed with gourmandise on the palate. The tasting of this 1966 vintage, both full-bodied and round, is distinguished by a slight licorice note. Finally, the intensity and power of the aromas continue on the palate, with a delectable sweetness that lasts for many caudalies.
